Annadel State Park - Reverse Helmet - GoPro HD

More playing around with the GoPro HD. This time mounting it near the back of my helmet and facing backwards.

    <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_WI3PpF5acQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_WI3PpF5acQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>

    Items to note:
    • The buckle and mounts aren't that tight and always have a little play in them. So I have to insert a small shim between them. Otherwise a slight bit of motion can be seen.
    • I encoded this a setting below the highest quality since the rendered size at the highest was around 1.2gb. Dropping it down a notch reduced the size to just over 600mb. But the change in quality is noticeable. Working with HD sure is a resource hog.

    Hans,

Are you wearing a backpack? Just wondering what the mount looks like and if you had a picture

I had on a CamelBak. But the GoPro was mounted on my helmet with the mount that GoPro sells. No pics at the moment of that setup.
