    yeah....

the full bravos are nice helmets, light, well ventilated, but they are not very strong. The carbon one is noticibly stiffer than the bravo 2, and I have seen a bravo 2 die very easily on a hip( snapped at the "jawbones"....ouch). You can feel the flex in mine and my head slides in and out very easily. I now wish I had got the carbon version or just gone straight to TLD, as I just bought one recently (hehe the new D2 Carbon w/ white flames should be here soon-- review w/ demo/40 in week and a half). Congrats on the sweet carbon version, I would definetly hit that.

Hmmm, my Full Bravo will be a year old soon, but holding up well. I liked the ability to remove pads for cleaning on Carbon. I like the look - may have to get one before they change it.

    Crash Replacement Policy

I have been wearing the Full Bravo Carbon identical to the one that is subject of this thread and it is (has been) a great helmet.

This past weekend I took a hellacious backwards fall and this helmet saved my squash. Frankly it wasn't the first, but maybe the worst of the hits it has taken.

I contacted SixSixOne about their crash replacement policy and I mailed it off this morning.

They will send me a brand new one for 50% of retail, which is a way far better price than anything I found searching on line Sunday. You might want to check with them.

My friend crashed riding with his Full Bravo a few weeks ago, and the strap, which was fully, correctly, fastened, didn't hold and the edge came up and smashed his lower lip between the mouthguard and his jaw. I ride the same helmet, and we got them cause they seemed like a good deal at the time, but we're thinking TLD now...
