    5.10s that breathe?

Are there any 5.10 shoes that actually breathe? I got a pair of freeriders and wore them through june and july. I literally was sweating through the leather or whatever that upper is made of. There are no mesh areas to let air in.

If there aren't any that breathe, are there any comparable shoes that grip as well and do breathe?

Some of their approach/hiking shoes (which use the same rubber but have a more contoured sole, work fine with flats) have great ventilation. The Savant model is a good one to look at.

Their BMX/skate shoes look like they breathe as well as plastic bags.

Sounds exactly what I need during the winter right now. Before I even get half way through a ride, my toes feel like they're going to fall off! And this is Cali winter, not even real winter.

When it's cold here, I wear thicker boot socks with my Vans. I haven't tried 5.10s yet. Currently using Vans Gravel bike shoes that are nice but hot. Doesn't really bother me as I'm in TX & my feet sweating isn't something I notice until I pull my shoes off...
