Here's the 2009 - it's probably the same. Front der. clamp size of 34.9 (should be same as seat tube clamp since it's the same tube) and BB width of 73mm. It should be a zero stack headset. Cane Creek headset finder spits out this: SHIS:ZS44/28.6|ZS44/30 (1-1/8" Zero Stack ZS Standard). No idea on dropouts - google.

    X-post...Kona Five-O build specs

Hi folks. I just bought a 2008 Five-O frame from Cambria, and I need a few info items from you...I emailed Kona's tech center and have yet to hear.

What kind of headset does this frame take? Integrated? Cambria wasn't really sure...they said 1.5? I thought that was off a bit. I have a 1 and 1/8th fork that I'd like to use.

    Seatpost size?
Seat clamp size? I'm not sure the frame comes with one.
    BB width?
Can i swap those dropout plates and run this SS?

    Here are my build plans:
    Rev fork at 150.
    XT cranks
    Charger Pro wheels
    XO bits

I'm thinking it will be a sweet build. I like the fact that the frame is longer and lower...and it seems to be somehwat oriented to trail ridiing, not just heavy freeriding. I need a bike that can pedal to the trail reasonably well.

Let me know what you know! Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I did find some "Z" dropouts for the 2009 Cowan and Five-o frames. High Intensity bike shop has them...or had them...I need to call as they are slow on the email responses.

That headset info you sent is helpful. I wil go to the Cane creek site and see what I come up with.

The 2009 5.0 has a 30.0 seat post size, which is very inconvenient, especially if you were thinking of using a Reverb or something.
