    Wolf tooth derailleur extension

Think carefully before using this. Ruined a derailleur when this snapped 1 mile after installation on my 86’ High Sierra.
Notice that there isn’t hardly any cross section material

Wow, barely any metal there. That's gotta suck. Curious as to what Wolf says.

Also notice that there is not any multi-cycle fatigue evident (admitted the fatigue surface is over-exposed so tough to say for sure).

You were just riding along and it fell apart?

Pedaling up a slight hill. It bent the derailleur into the the spokes . I was hardly moving.

My recommendation is you contact Wolftooth about this. They are really and truly a stand up company, and this is not the experience they want people to have. They may ask for better pictures (or not, they probably know a lot more about what they're looking at than me) but I have never had a problem with one of their products that they didn't take care of. Including one that was well past its warranty period.

I bought this over the cheap copies expecting quality. I asked for a refund from the eBay seller

Wait, you bought that on ebay? It's probably a fake. If you're going to buy wolftooth, buy it from them or a store near you that sells their stuff. fleabay is some sketchy crap if you're buying something that's supposed to be "new".

I have bought from them and believe they are legit. That is a bummer.

Ok, maybe it's legit - I'm still going to say Wolftooth will stand behind it if it is, so if the ebay seller gets flakey, check with Wolftooth. At least if it IS something they made and those guys are an authorized seller, they can figure out what happened.

I agree—I ‘m only interested in a refund—I won’t be putting something that doesn’t have much structural integrity onto my bike again
