    Where?

Today I rode the couch with some family and friends watching golf and baseball. A lazy day, but yesterday I rode at El Morro in So Cal.

It wasn't much of a ride for me but my son and I went urban and rode to soccer practice. Only about 4 miles but it was well worth it!

    Update: 50 Year Trail, Tucson

The Chutes are always a blast. Didn't take a pic of that part because I was having to much fun pointed down! Dang near ran over the fellow below. It was following the trail uphill and he/she was right in the middle of a blind corner.

    El Paso

Did a small loop (about 1 hour of riding) on the Redd Rd trails testing a new 'On One 456' with a 1x9 that I built up. Very fun...just need to get a chain guide...chain popped of 3 times during the ride.

Apo, where did you ride? I used to live near the Rockville Civic Center and had several loops that involved the Civic Center trails, Lake Needwood, Lake Frank, Upper Rock Creek and trails on the other side of Lake Frank (had to cross Muncaster). This was an unknown commodity that had at least 4 hours of riding that very few people new of.

I want to bike my first trail. It's 7 am and it just stopped raining. It rained for a couple Of hours. I plan on heading out there around 4 pm. Do you think a trail will be dry enough to bike on? Or should I just keep practicing on a paved trail? Thanks guys

That is a lot of time for rain to dry up here in Florida but I used to live in the northwest and it needs days to dry up. but if you live in the northwest you should be plenty used to rain :P
Wet has never scared me but factors for us to consider before we could answer you,
    1. What bike do you have?
    2. What are the dirt trails like near you? technical or Family oriented? Big mountains to fall off of? or is it flat like Florida here? Florida I think you could ride anytime and be mostly safe.
    3. Your age and fitness level.

Ok just looked at your profile, you should be fine.

I got a trek 4300. I live in Michigan. My fitness level is pretty high. I am looking to mountain on the days I am not running. I think the trail I was looking at was a single track.
