    Nukeproof Scout 290

I am still thinking about building up a 2nd bike and while either a Transition Smuggler or Canfield EPO are at the top of my want list I don't want to drain that much out of the bike account. The Scout 290 has long chainstays and might be a little slacker up front than I was looking for, but there is not much out there in this class. The Yelli and N9 have very slack STAs and they are off my list because of it. Kind of shocked by 440mm chainstay length. It is the only frame I can find with the reach and TT I want with a short enough seat tube to run a decent dropper. No reviews yet, any thoughts.

You and I are looking for pretty much the same bike. This looks pretty good, minus the frame material. Steel or carbon on a HT for me, even if I have to hold out for a while.

This year's Trans AM isn't looking too bad. ETT is a little short, but STA is 74, CS at 418...

I'm not willing to compromise on TT/reach. I sent Nukeproof an email asking what the stack is for the 290 and hopefully they'll answer.
