    Mystery threaded holes- dropout adapters???

Any idea what these “Mystery” threaded holes are for ?...2020 Trek Marlin 6.

Convert the dropouts to thru axle??...as frustrating as usual can’t find anything from Trek about it

Pretty sure they are used for rack and/or fender mounts

    Edit - from treks website:
" It's made for mountain biking, but it's also equipped with features like rack and kickstand mounts "

    and also the following picture:

...and there it goes my hopes to have the frame’s axle upgraded.

    Thanks for clarifying!....

Nope no axle upgrade - but you can get a sweet rack. And a kickstand.

There are some hubs that will use a 135x10 thru axle that will fit that bike. it would probably not be much of an "upgrade" though. a stronger, smoother skewer is probably the most improvement you're going to get out of that aspect of the bike.

Yeah. Fenders and racks. Those two holes with black plastic plugs on the NDS chain stay are for a kickstand.
    What, me worry?
