Zey are German! Zey do not do anything unless zey are serious!
Ghost make some really nice bikes, never ridden the long travel bikes but their 120mm AMR frames are lovely.

They are now sold at MEC in canada!
expensive cars are a waste of money. Expensive bikes...not so much!

I saw some at MEC. They looked pretty good. I imagine we'll see a lot now in this part of the world.

Ghost use Horst link suspension, and cannot be sold in the US. They are a solid brand, and provide cost effective bikes with high performance.

I read a writeup about them about a month ago. It seemed to be reasonably priced for what was on the bike, and the reviewer (I think ChainReaction posted it) seemed to be impressed. I've never seen one in person, but it seemed like a decent deal.

Like everyone said, it's a German brand, pretty popular in Europe actually. They offer good value with high quality parts and frames.
Apart from a few still popular American brands ( Cannondale, Scott and Spesh ) most people run european brand bikes like Ghost, Cube, Van Nicholas, Merida, Mondraker, BeOne, LaPierre, Commencal, etc
Nothing to be afraid of, they're high tier/quality bikes.

Thanks guys. seem like the general impression here for Ghost is that it is
(1) german, so it can't be that bad
(2) its value for money and reasonable quality
Thanks for the input guys
