They'd sell a lot more bikes if they ever had any XL in stock. I have NEVER looked at their site and seen XL in stock.

Indeed it is. Thanks for posting this, nauc. My fun size GF (5'3") is considering a new trail/all mountain machine so I forwarded the 27.5" size Jeffsy link to her. Wish these bikes had threaded BBs but anyway. Not sure if she's even interested in a YT but if she is, she'll want to consider the differences between the CF and the alu models.

Anybody know the weights of these bikes? I didn't find weight listed on YT's site. TIA.

I'd wager that getting ready to drop an updated version or new model.

Or any size really. I've almost never seen any model in any size available.

All sizes in stock in the AL One 27. Same build as the 29 looks like...and I agree, that's a killer deal.

Think they are getting ready to drop a 2018 model update and with moving warehouses (moving to CA from NV) they are probably trying to clear out the NV warehouse to make the transition a bit easier (less stock to ship and possibly damage, etc.)..

Oh and just looked at the AL Two in 29er and they apparently have XL in stock for $1949! This is stupid low right now.

Except is doesn't have 29" wheels. I almost wish I liked 27.5 wheels, because then there would be a simple solution for a new bike for me. But my LBS doesn't carry any brands that have big 29" bikes, only XC stuff.

A lot of LBS's need to get the big travel 29ers in stock. I'm 5'8", so a 27.5 fits me just fine but I'd like to try out a 5-6" travel 29er but I haven't seen them in stock locally yet.

In my case, there are shops that stock bigger 29ers within an hour or so - Pivot Switchblade for instance, and a SC dealer with some HTLT's on the floor. But the shop I live closest to, and have done a lot of business with literally doesn't carry a brand that makes a big 29er. Giant? Nope. Canondale? Negative. GT? Uh uh.

I've ridden the Switchblade. It wasn't a bad ride, but to get a build I'd be able to live with (SRAM drivetrain and something other than XT brakes) is $9100. Now look back at the price on the YT. That's probably why it's so hard to find the right size in stock.
