    New question here. Chain guide /fittings/Options help please

    I'm looking for chain guide and bash gaurd options that will fit with my current set up , can anyone chime in and recommend one ?
    Recently swapped to a single chain ring so I will be removing the front derailer

    Given that you're running a narrow/wide chainring, I'll bet you don't need a chain guide at all. If you do, there's a bunch of inexpensive ones that fit the direct mount fitting your derailleur will be vacating. As for a bash guard, you don't have many options.

    If you have a pressfit bb, you don't really have ANY options, short of using a 3x crank and putting a bash ring in the big ring position.

    If your bb is threaded, replace a drive side spacer with one of these

    and get an ISCG-05 taco bash, such as this one:

    You could also get one of these if you want to integrate the bash and chain guide if you insist on the chainguide. You'd have to be riding REALLY rowdy stuff in some exceptionally sloppy conditions to need it, IMO.
