    Any thoughts on new bars?

Recently I snapped my carbon bars while out on the trails, and i'm looking for a replacement. Any recommendations? I'm currently looking at the Raceface Atlas riser bars.

I have the Atlas bars on my DH bike and like them a lot. A bit on the heavy side compared to carbon, I would think, but perfect for my usage. Made from 7k series aluminum too so stronger than the 6061 stuff.

Which carbon bars did you snap? Where did they fail and how did it happen?

I have 35mm RF Atlas bars & stem on my Guerrilla Gravity Trail Pistol. This is stout equipment and I feel confident jumping & such with it, but I gotta admit 31.8mm seemed to work fine for me, too. I have the Atlas because it's what came on the bike.

Never employed carbon bars, never intend to.

Like King hubs and Oury grips...

Renthal bars are a no-brainer pick for me.

I imagine the Atlas bars are great, but haven't used them. Ive found renthal fat bars to be really strong. I also run answer carbon bars and have had no issues.

I snapped my Forte Clutch carbon bars about a week after I slammed my bars on a rock.
