    STA trails...condition?

Does anyone have a report from the STA trails?? Ive been watching the the snow melting at a rather quick pace up at elevation from my house down by Campbell Airstrip....It looks like gasline/powerline is starting to thin out. Not sure how the trails are in the trees.

    Thanks

There was still snow on them as of last weekend. Not continuous, but patchy. I wouldn't expect them to dry out and firm up for a couple weeks most likely. Could be sooner, but it hasn't been all that warm recently. The wind could be helping to dry it out even without the heat, so that could speed things up.

    STA no.

Parts are perfectly dry. Parts are nearly axle deep mud. No, I didn't do it. I could see someone else had. Brown Bear however, is perfect. Well, one soft ish spot near the beginning but if you walk around the 3 feet of it, you are golden the rest of the trail. Except for that pesky tree across the trail.
