I'll be there-- sounds like I'll have to leave from Anchorage at about 9am--I do have enough room to take four people & their bikes with me...Thanks Frank! I had a great ride --Day of the Dead! I hope that becomes a tradition!

    Never a Bad Ride!

The snow was great! I have never ridden this trail this early before the conditions were perfect. Temps from -5 to -20 at night. We road from Point Mac store down Ayrshire Rd. to the gas pipeline passed Fish Creek to the Big Su then up the Su in and out of the side slues and side trails, the Su has big chunks of ice all over it from the freeze & thaw overflow ( so the snowmachiners are staying off the main channel).

It's so fantastic to have this long a ride this early on the trail. I estimated abut 42 miles round trip.

Hope to see you on the next ride! Billy

Wow - Bearbait those bags you make are perfect! Did you see Billy's macked out Epiced-Fatback. He actually thanked you out loud every time he opened his trunk bag followed by a little demonstration of closing it back up- sweet. Anyway we are planning a group ride Jan 2, 3, and 4 to Luce's and hopefully beyond, hope you can make it.
