    Powerline Up & Over Pictures

    Hi Guys,

Here are some pictures from the top of the pass. I think I got everybody, but if I didn't it's because I had to change a camera battery half way through. What an outstanding day! It was amazing to watch a couple of you guys crank almost all the way up. And Pete on a single speed, wow.

There's about 60 pictures total and I'm going to burn a CD for Greg and bring it to his shop. They can be enlarged alot w/o loosing detail, so close-up tight shots look really good.

It's been awhile since I've posted any pics, so I may have to do this in multiple posts.

    Enjoy.

It was just an outstanding day! I'm sure you guys didn't have time to look around and smell the roses. Here's one of upper Indian Valley.

See you guys at the Soggy. Have a good week.

ah, that first pic is of the bike mech. from Speedway! What a kickass guy! He completely sold me on Speedway Cycles. Nice to see that shop employees get out there and kick it hillside!

Pete's working at Speedway now? I thought he was still at Paramount Cycles? Anyhow, I think that to make it fair he should race with his tires filled with water. Because obviously, riding a rigid single isn't enough to level the field...

Yeah, he's at Speedway. He hooked me up big time w/ some upgrades/fixes for my Juicy 7's, and was a thorough guy. Best bike service I've had in Alaska.
Is that frame rigid? Looks like a suspension fork up front there, unless it's locked out or something, or else just a decieving build (can't imagine...).

If it's the guy on the first pic -at least first on my computer- with the singlespeed and a blue jersey, that's Pete, used to work at Paramount and that fork is rigid.

Upon closer inspection I have noticed that everyone has shaved legs and Lycra shorts so I am assuming it is a race called "Powerline Up and Over"

Pete's at Speedway - cool man! Saw a mention of you in the latest Dirt Rag.

I need to make it back over there and check out the shop again.
