    Polo pics from last night

Despite the rain it was a big turnout for bike polo. As the night went on all you could hear was laughing and brakes honking like crazy! My only regret is I didn't get any photo's of Adam steamrollin' guys into the boards!!!That was some funny chit! Rio or Tim, did you guys get video?

Much props to the Speedway boys! Too much fun.
    Enjoy the pics.

Looks like fun, and a potential for carnage.

Thanks to Big Laker for all the photos, and a major thanks to Greg and Pete of Speedway Cycles for hosting such a fun event. The game and the shop party afterward were a hoot, and rolling through Spenard in the dark with a pack of rain-splattered mountain bikers was a blast. I'd show up again for that part alone.

Here are a few more shots of the festivities, complete with an artsy shot from Rio, who had my camera during the game. It might have been an accident, but I liked the pic anyway.

    stay tuned

We will be hosting another event in the near future-Bearbait has a dvd we all need to see. Polo will be weather permiting. Maybe we could play on the turf in the Changepoint dome-full field on fatbikes. A special thanks to Brij for loaning us his dvd, and thanks to all for showing up.

    What a blast!

Bike polo is a lot of fun. Dangerous, but fun. The wet pavement provided high speeds and poor braking Apologies again to the guy(team mate) I T-boned in the second quarter. That should heal up just fine. Thanks to Pete for the game and to Greg for the beer. Gyros are pretty tasty.

    Nice shots...

as usual Sambo. What's up with Leonard in the second shot, is he pissed or is that just his game face?

Man, I pussed out when it started raining...I thought a nice, warm house and some Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter would keep me satisfied, but I felt bad all night for missing it. Looks like you guys had a blast.
