    Pioneer ridge trail

Pioneer ridge trail in Butte is good. Couple wet spots in the first 2 miles overall dry and good. Didn't make it any further ran out of time. Pics when I get my computer fixed.

    How do you get there?

Dome is a few more days away on the lower half anyway. Someone has been on it leaving some nice ruts. Pioneer ridge trail sounds nice.

Hasn't been me on the dome. Pioneer ridge trail is on knik river road, it goes up south pioneer peak. Definitely not for the faint of hearty steeper longer and more technical than anything else around that I know of. It's somewhere in the neighborhood of 5000 feet to the top. I only went up the first 2 miles and walked a few of the switchbacks. It's only a 35 minute drive from Muldoon. Assuming it stays dry I'll be back out this weekend not too many people use the trail.

    Saturday

My Turner is in the process of being made over, soon I hope. Currently have the old one for Saturday though, granted I can find some brake caliper mounting bolts. If you go, let me know.
