Perfect day for the Frosty Bottom

An epic day for the Frosty Bottom, too bad you missed it. Trails were 95% firm everywhere.

    DSCN0489.jpgNo snow. Now it's a creek.

DSCN0490.jpgWhere my trail's running water crosses the MU Trail.

DSCN0496.jpgUphill climb, no ruts. You should've been there.

    DSCN0497.jpgMU, super firm.

DSCN0517.jpgIn the tunnel. I think it says, "Bored", or it could be "Coked", but I like the first one.
DSCN0518.jpgAfter Dubchester, still firm, still a ghost town.
    DSCN0519.jpgAfter Earthquake Park. Fell down.
DSCN0521.jpgClimbing the last hill. Slippery, but firm.

DSCN0525.jpg On the way back to Dubchester. 30-some miles and change. I rode it backwards, but didn't want to drive to Kincaid for nothing at 6 in the morning. Rovers and Moose Meadow were the most challenging because of the punchiness, but fine after correcting the tire pressure (kept it the same for the whole ride after that). Beautiful day. Warm, calm. Hope it's as nice next week. Seriously, though the trail was bomber and there isn't a thing bike tires could have done to rut it where the skier will be riding for the TOA.
