    New STA website

Singletrack Advocates has a new website that we'll be updating periodically this summer with information on our activities, as well as information about trail conditions, notices and warnings issued by the Muni and BLM, and anything else that we think Anchorage-area mountain bikers need to hear about. Check it out, bookmark it, and check back from time to time. And don't forget to keep your calendar free on June 2 for National Trails Day.

See you on the trails soon. Seriously. They really will dry out one of these days.

How to get sign in account

Hi Tim: Great start! But it's not obvious how you get an account/signed-in unless you've already got another blogspot yaddayadda...got suggestions?

Plus, I like bright green on my riding vest, but it's pretty hard on us old farts trying to read the grayish text...suggest a more readable background (I've gotta' a lot of nerve, telling a magazine kinda guy how to do graphics, eh? ) Just some thoughts! kk

The page is a bit of a work in progress, so I just took a fresh look and agreed; the green background wasn't a great idea. I just made some tweaks that should help.

I also opened the comments feature to anyone. I had forgotten to do that, but now any user can post a comment without needing a blogspot user account. Simply choose the "anonymous" option. You can always type your name at the bottom of your comment, if you wish. In fact, it's a good idea.

Before posting a comment, you'll need to type in a code that's visible on your screen. I know it's a minor inconvenience, but it keeps spammers from posting unwelcome comments/ads.

Cyclists don't need Cialis ads. We have $150 saddles to prevent those problems.
