    New poggies

    One down, one to go.
I think they are going to be called "The Rohn Expedition Poggies".

Thanks to Mike C for some key design ideas.

note the fuzzy berber pile fleece on the inside!

Pogg-a-licious! Those are nice. What would it take to get a pair for a set of mustache bars?

And...what was on the plate in photo #2?

    Thanks!

Bean burrito - none of that thanksgiving left over stuff for me!

Some details - quilted synthetic insulation, wire stiffener along inside the webbing around the outside, "Arm gasket" made out of malden wind pro fleece, dyneema ripstop fabric.

Outer pocket designed to hold a 13oz nutella container with spoon either in the horizonal or vertical position!

Those look downright hot. Here in Kodiak we go for waterproof first, warmth second. I sew mine with a severe "overbite" (longer on the top) so that stuff doesn't find its way inside, and I agree 100% on the quilted liner. Smooth and slick getting your hands in and out, and clothing does not get hung up that might bunch up the pogie or push it forward. Mine are just for commuting, so they are pretty simple. No Nutella pockets.

My video techniques can be found in this thread.

    Nutella???

Is this some sort of winter-enduro secret that I'm missing out on, inside joke, or what? A bit of wiki-research yielded that it is mostly sugar and fat. Hmmm, sounds like winter fare.
