Well, he held onto his umbrella. I would have let go. However, were it a beer, I would not have spilled a drop.

You heartless cretins. I believe people who go over the bars and land on their faces deserve more sympathy from the bicycling brotherhood!

Too bad the boy with the umbrella doesn't have a manly beard to protect his face... and us from his face.

Not what I'd call the best Mary Poppins impersonator.
My video techniques can be found in this thread.

    waaahoooooooooooooooooo

Calvin : Ahhh, another bowl of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs! The second bowl is always the best! The pleasure of my first bowl is diminished by the anticipation of future bowls and by the end of my third bowl, I usually feel sick.
Hobbes : Maybe you shouldn't use chocolate milk.
Calvin : I tried Cola, but the bubbles went up my nose.

In the driveway?! My faceplant was an absolute adventure by comparison!

We shouldn't tease him. He probably just dropped a bike with oversized tires while lifting it to the roof rack. That happens to guys who feel insecure about riding normal bikes and get hooked on acquiring "bigger equipment."

Thats not true. I fell and broke my rib in the street in front of the house, loading my bike into Queen Bee's EuroVan. Thats waaay different, and waay more manly than how Akdeluxe described my very unfortunate incident. Its not easy to crash while not riding your bike, you should try it sometime.

Nah, I put them in the same category as guys who crush their bikes driving into the garage.

was that a "flying pigeon" he was flying off of??
the umbrella survived, the front wheel did not taco (that's a good set of wheels there) but the fork gave in. doing a belly plant in the pool looks painfull, but in the street, w/ a leather/vinyl enema to follow, ouch!!!

that's some funny stuff there! big karma is getting soft on us after his lip piercing.
if that was one of our guys, after we knew he was ok, we would be laughing just as hard!!

That indeed looks painful almost like going through Anchorages extensive road holes that are supposed to be covered by paper thin layer of asphalt.... perhaps if he fell in Anchorage the asphalt would have softened the fall by doing something similar to a trampoline
