    Lynx-Bobcat-New trail name???

Okay, so who the hell am I to throw a name on the new trail, but I thought of one today for 2 reasons. 1st, I saw this guy (in the pictures) on the gasline just out of the new trail today. I don't know if he saw me, or heard me, but he didn't run off like the 1 I saw 6 years ago did. He was just chillin, and I was able to take a few pictures before he took off. I continued my ride to the saddle of Powerline, and on the way down hit the new trail. So the 2nd reason, the trail is soooo fun with great flow, a lot of little jumps, and I thought a lynx jumps pretty dang high, so, I will call this trail lynx. Bobcat sounds cooler, but I think that is a different animal. No???

We could also go with The Tower trail. That sounds pretty cool too.

    Quick Draw!

You're pretty fast with the camera! I saw this guy out on a portion of the trail we're working on. He walked right by the hand crew. We stood there and debated for awhile whether this is a bobcat or a lynx. Does anyone know the difference?

I'll throw this name into the hat for trail naming. The process to name a trail is pretty incredible. We'll be jumping through that hoop this fall. Keep your submissions coming!

    Lynx it is

Bobcats live farther south. Lynx are larger, and live in Alaska/Canada.

Lynx. Doesn't sound as cool as Bobcat, but I think a Lynx could whoop a Bobcat, so, ...

He was in no hurry to get away, easy to get pictures. Sounds like this guy likes people.

    Shoot.

The Lynx just got hammered by the Bobcat. Whitewashed even. Maybe Lynx is a wimpy name for such a fun trail. Just up there again today. Rode up the 1st open part, back down and then continued on to the trail that seemed open (hope it really was) and it goes to the top again. Great stuff. It is sad winter is so close. Thanks again for all the work you put in. If you need bodies for things, count me in.

    Small but Mighty

Bobcat might be smaller, but he is fierce! Still, I like the lynx for the radical eardo and those killer sideburns.

I saw how you moved that boulder around on the first part of the intermediate loop. You are on my list for any rock work to be done!

Nice cat shot! You don't get the opportunity to photo one of those too often.

    Yeah

or see one even. Definitely a lucky thing. Lucky to get the camera out too, even though it's a bit pixeled out.

Their out there. I have friends that didn't know they lived up here at all. They wouldn't have believed me if there wasn't a picture.
