Know a Physical Therapist knows bikers?

So, I did some cartilage damage trail running of all things pre soggy bottom.. coming on 6 weeks and it is still giving me problems.

I thought I'd query you all and see if anyone knows a physical therapist in Anchorage that knows knees and bikers well. I have some recomendations but could always use more.

    Thanks for any input.

    A Joint Effort

A Joint Effort is a PT clinic, when I went there it was near the airport. They did a great job on my IT band. I told them I was a cyclist and what my concerns were and they did a good job. Especially in giving me after care so that I can prevent new stuff.

Hey good to hear that you waited 6 weeks until getting some help, thats what I did too. I couldn't even ride a bike by the time I went for help.

    P/T in Anchorage

    Hi Eric,
I had knee problems of and on for around a year when I finally searched for a p/t.
I had two different p/t's. One suggested i had a small pinch underneath my knee cap. I taped my knee cap up for a few months during rides. It never fully helped.
The second p/t suggested lots of stretches for my piriformis and it bands. I was fully functional and riding more than i ever had before within 6 weeks. Very successful for me.
I was ecstatic to say the least!
Here's the information if you want to try my p/t out....
United Physical Therapy, Alec Kay 929-8400.
Good luck and know what it's like....
    Phil
