    Kincaid XC Series

Am I a dolt? I can't find a description of or a list of the actual courses for the races? Even race #1, just a few days out. I am trying to decide if I should race the single speed or the proper race bike. I guess Ill go single speed so I have an excuse when I get spanked. Thoughts?

There maybe some adjustments to the course that are still happening at this time. Soon enough...

They usually don't post the race maps until about a week out from the races. Often, some changes need to be made for various reasons, so posting a map too early just makes things more confusing. Also, they have been having troubles with permits in the park due to restrictions on racing some of the "social trails", so they are likely still fine tuning the courses depending on what they get approval for.

The course map is now posted on the race website. Looks to be about 50/50 ski trail and STA singletrack. No rooty stuff which was expected now that Parks and Rec has made those off limits for events (long story).

To those that are pre-riding the course, please do everyone a favor and avoid peak hours, especially when you jump on bowling alley going the wrong way for that day. :shakeshead

Yes, it would take a pretty massive storm to cancel one of the mountain bike races.
