    Johnson Pass Saturday

Planning to ride at 10am on Sat from the South trailhead. Planning to go as far as we can responsibly go given conditions, but supposedly a good deal of the trail is clear, 8-10 miles one-way this weekend, enough for a nice ride hopefully with even more drying happening. Saturday is supposed to be good weather. Bring bug repellent if you don't want to feed the needy mosquito families. Sunscreen for a few of the exposed bits. Bear spray just in case. Plan on a moderate pace/effort. Peninsula trails don't have killer climbs, but weather can change and it's good to plan to be out there for a few hours at least, would estimate 2-5 depending on conditions and how far we can get. 60.5037,-149.4337

I'm working a graveyard shift on Saturday morning... but I may head out there on Sunday or Monday. Please post a report on the conditions!

Pre-game at Paramount Bike Shop at 8am, work out any details if needed.

I reported in the spring conditions thread, seems good, we only went about 8.7 miles for different reasons, but no bad mud, was plenty dry at the point we turned around (started at the S trailhead). Doesn't seem out of the question to attempt the entire thing.
