    How's the DH/DJ scene?

Looking to be living in Anchorage before the end of Sept. and jsut wondering how the DH and Dirt jump scene is. I've seen videos of runs and jumps and they're for the most part...not what I would expect. I'm a local race series trail builder and local DJ builder so if I can't find anything good you can bet there will be sweet lines asap....I'd also like ot talk to Aleyeska about putting a park in.
    Have fun.

Rumor has that there will be a bike park at Alyeska but it is 1 to 2 years out.

There are some downhill runs here but not any DJ that I'm aware of.

I mostly ride hillside as I live close and don't have a lot of time during the summer, but there are trails I would like to check out. PM me when you get to town and if I can't go out with you I'll try to hook you up with someone.

Pray for a few good weekends, it can be wet the end of September.

If there aren't many trails now....there will be after I get there.

There's some great DH stuff, you just have to know where to find it. Some of them aren't common knowledge. There are at least three really good ones that I know of. They are:

    Slaughter Ridge, Cooper Landing, AK
    Mountain Cecil, Cooper Landing, AK
    Abe's Trail, Girdwood, AK

Hit me up for a few more trails and directions, if you like. I don't know of any DJ'ing, except in Kincaid Park, in Anchorage, and that's mostly taken up my motocross guys.
