Hot and dusty on The Rock.

I just got back from two weeks in Lake Tahoe (9' of powder, baby!) and it is freaking hot here in Kodiak, and downright xeric! Sunny, balmy, and not a flake of snow to be seen. Some shots from today's toodle:

    Happy New Year Philip

Maybe I should have hopped on a ferry and joined you. Four of us went for a night ride last night along the Hillside and around the bog. It was 7 degrees by the time I got back to my house, and you'd think this to be brisk, but it was actually pretty comfortable. The trails here are plenty firm, but I'd much rather be riding dirt! Enjoy it while it lasts. Your pogies are getting circulated. Welcome home....and maybe pass along some new info from DGC's world.

    Thank you, Lord:

I ended up not getting to meet up with DGC mainly due to the snow situation. The convenient highway between us was closed, so no new Turner dirt. Casey did email me asking if I wanted to do a little more web work for them, but I don't know what it will be yet. Seems like they have the website well in hand anyway.

I'm going out commercial tanner crab fishing later this next week for a short period. Should be fun. Just local Kodiak stuff.

    Stay warm up there *suckers*.
