    hope pro 2 hubs in winter.....

    anyone using these hubs right now? how do they work in sub zero temps? also, how loud are they? are they much louder than the hadleys?

    Mine have worked well in the winter. They roll well and are sealed well.

    don't know about freezing temps, but they are far louder than the Hadley's. easily the loudest hub i've heard.

    I commute on a set in Kodiak. No real issues with temp so far but the sealing is pathetic so water entering the freehub could freeze and bugger everything up. They are incredibly loud.

    They are loud.
    They do fine in the cold, but you'll want to winterize the freehub if you'll be riding in bellow zero temps.They come packed with pretty thick grease.

    Tscheezy seems to be able to franken anything, but not simply grease the seals to make the hub highly water resistant? It's not that hard, really. Think about the climate the Hope developers ride in.
