Wow, what a fantasitic ride that must have been. Those shots are great. I have to get up there this summer. How long did the ride take?

How about the truckers? It seems they would realy fly by throwing rocks from the road....No problems I hope.

I took a group of 14 up there.

Ivan, Jen and I were working as cycling guides at the time. Great time, but for the bugs. We had 2 sag wagons, so it was an interesting time.

    Nice photos!

    Dusty

I started in Deadhorse late on a saturday Afternoon, and finished the Dalton on a wednesday morning. North to south I think was the way to go as there was a nice tail wind all the way to the brooks range.

The Trucks we not too bad. I've been other places where they were worse and more crazy. You just have to know that its their road and you're a tourist so you cant let it get to you when they come close or totally dust you. I only had a few pieces of gravel nail me a few times, not to big a deal. Up North there wasnt much traffic at all any you could see & hear them coming a long way away, near the Yukon they are hauling gravel with belly dumpers and there were lots of trucks.

Resurrection is in awesome shape and bone dry, Johnson's is still ridable with the cow parsnip. shoulder height

    The Sweet Roll awaits...

    Sweet Roll

Ah the Sweet Roll, I am all giddy with anticipation and whatnot. Man that dam race just scares me. As it gets closer I am in the final stages of tuning my bike to get it bombproof and comfortable. Should be a good time as long as body and bike hold together.

I'm in - haven't run into a bear (bears if sows and cubs count) on Russian Lakes trail since last weekend...
