    Scary stuff. Glad we don't have any brown bears (or bears period) in Ohio to worry about on the trails. Just ticks and skeeters.

    I grew up on Capr Cod as Lyme Disease was unfolding. Ticks scare the hell out of me!!

    Heh, all my worrying about bears on my Seward trip was useless. I camped at Tenderfoot (next to Summit Lake) and the other people camping beside me were both cooking all there food right at their site. I just hoped they would get eaten first so I could have time to get away.
