    Frosty Bottom Entry is open!

Entry to the second annual Frosty Bottom 50/25 is now open. If you're looking for a good adventure, get ready to race on Saturday, January 5. Start at Kincaid Chalet and ski, bike, or run yourself up to Service H.S. Call it good and congratulate yourself for completing the Frosty Bottom 25 or find the strength to turn around and retrace your steps to complete the Frosty Bottom 50.

No aid stations and no support, so plan appropriately. Awards party is Sunday, January 6. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Entry is $35 bones and includes a *****in' commemorative skull cap.

For more info on the event, check out www.chainreactioncycles.us.

And if you're wondering, yeah, Rio came up with the name for this event . Rio, you up for helping out again?

I've signed you up for the extra special volunteer package. This includes first dibs at the pizza, extra beer, and use of the corporate jet. Thanks man!

Agreed. I'm pretty sure the extra 15 lbs for you would unfairly handicap the rest of the field. You are also not allowed to push your bike as in the Su100 as that would also be quite unsporting.

    It's an early start...

We'll start at 9am at the top of the Kincaid Chalet hill. Check in and number assignment will be from 8am to 8:45am. We start early so anyone siging up for the 50-mile run has as much time as possible. That said, please don't encourage anyone to sign up for the 50 -mile run!

There are no gear requirements except one. If Pete signs up for the race, it is required that he carry a minimum of 50 lbs to even out the playing field. Everyone else is free to carry as much or as little as they want. Just so y'all know what you may be up against, here is a top secret picture of Basinger with some new gear I heard he'll be using this year.

Just another reminder that you should never let a strange man take a picture of you, no matter how pretty he makes you feel.

what time do the walkers start?

    Hey Bill,

I just signed up for the Frosty Bottom 50. What time does the walking division start? Oh well, it doesn't really matter, I've got all day... and night if necessary to finish that race. I will be an inspiration to all!

Pete looks cute on your bike.

If I remember correctly, you brought your rubber duckie and kept trying to take your clothes off. I was like, "Whoa, dude, this isn't that kind of photo shoot."

Then again, maybe the rubber duckie belonged to Leonard...

Just a heads up for all you Frosty Bottom riders. I just checked a weather report, curious as to how it may dictate my garb for the ride. The Campbell Cr Science Center is -6, so Jack Frost will be nipping.....see ya out there!
