Good job! Frigid Bits January 29, 2011 !!!

    G'Day Fatheads !
This ride at your own pace will take place on January 29th at 7 PM!
The ride will start and end at the parking lot outside of the Hillside Ski Area entrance.
This will be a new Frigid Bits route and it goes like this; from the parking lot ride west on the multi use trail that leads you to the Tour of Anchorage Trail, ride the TOA to the Smoke Jumpers Trail head parking lot, ride Smoke Jumpers to the TOA intersection, cross over and ride the Salmon Creek Trail east over to the View Point Trail, ride View Point, and take the left to Moose Meadow ride MM to Black Bear, turn right on Black Bear , ride this to Brown Bear, ride up BB, take a left and get onto Rovers and turn left on Moose Meadow, turn right onto View Point, VP to Salmon Creek ride Salmon Creek and ride back to the start. There will be a recreation group if we have a missonary to lead the group.
Due to the high exposure of the area, the Frigid Bits Burrael will not be there, this will avoid crowd control issues and parking problems casued by the presence of this icon. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Coming soon: February 5th, The 6 hour Boner- Midnight to 6 AM. Details to follow

Those planning to ride this fabulous route please show up at 6:30 PM to sign up, and there will be a riders meeting around 6:45.
Yes, adult beverages are welcomed so consume with care and who knows a grill may show up to grill up some brats to go with the brew.
Please use this thread for questions.
    Oh yes, helmets are required.

    FB Saturday Night! Update 1

The casual velo riders will depart into the darkness at 6:30 and yes, the Most Humble Rev. Kharma and Maura will be the ride leaders. We request that your bike be rideable and that you are fit enough to at least ride for 1 hour. Helmets are required and a working headlight of some sort.
Yes, the rumor may be true that a grill may show up! So, please bring some meat or veggies to throw on to the grill to share with your fellow Fatheads!

The traveling grill of good karma will indeed be available.
