    Frigid Bits Ice Crit !

The Frigid Bits Ice Crit Reunion and Social soirée will occur Saturday November 22nd at 7PM!
This is the first ice crit in many years so we are really excited to extend an invite to all those who are bored with the lack of snow and new to Frigid Bits shenanigans for 2 wheeled riders!
Also, the iconic standard that all existing and future metal sculptures wish they were, the one and only, Fabulous Frigid Bits Burn Barrel will make an appearance to share its cherry warm glow to all riders and Frigid Bit Burn Barrel fan club members! Please bring some beverages to swap and share with others.
Oh, also bring some wood for the FFBB!
The race will have 2 categories those that are new to this form of riding and those that are experienced! Also, prior to the group slipping and skidding, several riders will demonstrate for the new riders; techniques to have screaming bat **** fun on the ice. This will start around 7PM and the fun races will start around 7:30 with the experienced riders going first followed by the rookies. This is so the new or those that need more experience can observe and hopefully learn from the fast dogs how to shred ice!
    Location: North Bivwack Parking Lot
Distance: Experienced riders 20 Laps. Nubees : 10 laps (distance subject to ice and weather conditions)
How to get to the Pond:
Ride around the red gate go down the Tank Trail a short distancethen turn left at the 3rd trail entrance on the left. Then follow this to the Y in the trail go left at the fork. The pond will be obvious.
The opportunity to ride on ice is an excellent op to learn new or refine you bike handling skills
Please use this thread for questions!

Studs are a must to get around the course, this course has 37 turns with several interesting tangents. This pond has very smooth ice that would be extremely challenging to stay upright without studs.

If anyone who went to this event is missing a bike bag, please contact me to describe and I will put you in contact with the person who found said bag on the ice last night.
