    Eklutna Lake Trail Conditions

Has anyone been out to Eklutna the last couple weeks? If so, what condition is the trail in?

It was pretty nice yesterday. Some patches of snow and mud but overall not a bad ride.

Was that on bike path parts not atv sections? The last time I was on it the bike parts were fairly snow free. The big root you have to hop over was fully exposed. It is such a nice trail to ride. Is the cabin at the end a rental? Or are both cabins? I couldn't find them online.

That's the cabin at the end of the lake.

Does anyone know the mileage to the cabin? During the week are bunks usually open? I imagine on the Atv days people are likely occupying it. I haven't been out all the way so I don't know much about it. It is a beautiful ride fairly close to town. Are there any other similar trails and cabins around? I have been on resurrection trails not the devil trail though. A cabin is always nice with our crazy weather. Thanks for any thoughts. It would be cool and helpful to have a sticky with trail systems.

The cabin is about 9 miles from the lot. The trail is pretty mild the entire way out. the cabin is large, will sleep 12. You may run into other campers there, but I have never been there when it was at capacity.
