Hey Hey Supa Dave, just got in from a ride, and man, if anyone passed on riding today they missed out! It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and yes I snapped a few pics.

LoafyD, mtbike_Ak, and I had originally planned to ride up Devil's Pass and then down Res to Cooper Landing. But when LoafyD bowed out, we decided to ride Lost Lake instead. We couldn't have chosen better conditions. If anyone out there is considering riding it possibly tomorrow, do it, I've never seen the trail so dry and in top shape.

We climbed from the Primrose end, with full intentions of riding the entire loop. As it turned out, we patched a punctured tube for some desperados along the trail, and they shuttled us from the Seward end back to my truck to return the favor.

We piled four bikes into the back of a Toyota truck, and then piled ourselves in for the warm, open-air lift. I have to repeat, conditions were as good as it gets, don't hesitate and ride it if you have the slightest inkling.

Here's a few, hope they satisfy. The last one shows you the Seward harbor in the background. Rando

It was so hot even my glasses were fogging up! The slow climbing thru the forested sections got me pretty steamed up, and it was obvious a ton of snow was melting from the sound of the rushing creeks. Check out this first pic at how cloudy the water seemed, it usually runs much clearer when there's not so much melting occurring. Once you got above treeline and were exposed to the breeze it felt refreshing. Overall a great ride. It was mtbike_Ak's first time, so glad it worked out well for him.

    Lost Lake??

Rando- I thought you and Loafy D were gonna ride the Bon this weekend, what happened? I'll be in Tue. so maybe we can do some hill repeats up Hatcher's or do a Rez recon, something in the 80 mi. range, if ya know what I mean.

Thanks for the Sat. stoke! Sippin' the pimp juice!

    Apparently nobody rides anymore

We rode Carlos's Bon Ton this weekend and there more women from Palmer than there were riders from Anchorage. If we don't start showing up for these rides (Soggy Bottom) they won't be around anymore and everybody will be sayling boy I really wanted to do that. So make the time and come ride.... you missed a great weekend of drinking and riding.
