    Denali highway. Elevation profile?

Does anyone have a good elevation profile for the DH? My father, son and I plan to ride it in July. Dad is 65 but strong and is working on the divide ride. Just trying to figure out if it's better east to west or vice versa.

    Thanks!

Are you planning on riding entire road highway from Cantwell to Paxson or just the gravel portion from Cantwell to Tangle Lakes. Paxson to Tangle Lakes while paved has a significant climb to it from Paxson Lodge (closed) to MP13 of Denali Hwy

    Denali highway. Elevation profile?

The whole thing I think. Might consider getting a boost up that first climb if we went that way. I'll check those links, I was poking around the gravel grinder site last night but didn't quite find what I was looking for.

It is pretty easy to trace any route into google earth and then once the route is saved, you can have google earth automatically generate and display an elevation profile of the route.

Denali highway. Elevation profile?-screen-shot-2014-06-16-9.29.45-pm.jpg Well it worked great. Graph reads from west end on left to east on right. Posting it here for the next guy who needs it. Feel free to comment on which way you would ride it.

I would ride Cantwell to Paxson for the simple reason I like my visual payoffs at to build along the ride and if the weather is good there are epic views on the east end of the road
