    Cold Ear Solution

i have a bunch of scrap material sitting around from my not-so-ghetto pogies, and my ears got really cold at the start of yesterday's ride. so i came up with a solution for when my ears are cold, but it's not quite cold enough to wear a balaclava. i have a weird shaped head, big ears and stupid looking earrings, so headbands don't really work for me. here's what i made:

wool felt lining with coated ripstop shell. velcro tabs hold it in place. as you can see, i'm still figuring out this whole sewing thing...

    they're really comfy and warm.

and low profile without being restricting.

they're super friggen easy to make, so if your ears get cold like mine and other solutions don't quite cut it sometimes, get on it.

Excellent ! You re-invented the dog ear, I have some I bought from paramount a couple seasons ago, but frankly I like yours better,(they are bigger) ! You should make some up to sell.

You are turning into quite a seamster! That would work for me - I get cold ears but a hot and sweaty head.
