Anchorage conditions are a blast! - another short video

Here's a little mix of riding of late. Lots more daylight hours and warm temps are making rides oh so pleasant!

I weaved a few of the newer clips (STA) into the vid. I like added perspective. I think you will recognize which they are, Rando.

    Nice work

Cool video angles and sequences. Ever do stuff like that in the summer? I don't have the know abouts, but there are some sweet downhill runs in Anchorage I'd like to film out like that. Knoya Ridge down the Dome, a 4000 ft descent kind of run. Could be cool.

Yeah, the little GoPro unit has been so much fun. It's light, so easy to take along, waterproof, so should hold up to our ever changing conditions, and the HD image quality really shines on sunny days. Plus, you can find quite a few different styles of mounts that give it a ton of versatility.

Go back up to tscheezy's video and you'll see mine mounted on a clamp unit on the back of my seatpost, and every now and then you'll get a glimpse of tscheezy's mounted by the rear drlr.

The GoPro is such a value too. I can't believe how inexpensive they are for the quality of output. Check out ts's beach riding video:

It has more of an array of different perspectives you can achieve with the mount's versatility, plus it's the best video I've seen yet. Of course, nice scenery and an attractive model don't hurt!

Give me a call when you're back in town and let's do a ride together, I'll show it to you in action.
