Been tinker with the idea of a 29er but the frame selection for small frames is really limited so decided to get a 29er front wheel built as I heard the 29er Nokians were coming and just stuff it in my existing rigid SS. The 29er wheel slows down the handling a bit which is fine for winter riding and it rolls over stuff in smoother verses using a 2.3", 26" Freddies Nokian - one nasayer said the climbing would suck but so far not an issue. The fork is a 440mm and am going to try the wheel in a 420mm Pace next.
