3rd Annual Frigid Bits 6 Hour

What: A 6 hour ride at your own pace gathering

Start: West Chester Lagoon at the "Y" nearest the cafe
    End: 6AM January 21st.

When: ]Start at Midnight January 21st

Sign up: 11:45 PM, January 20th

Course: The first segment will require each rider to roll to the Kincade Chalet and return to the start. The remaining laps will be done on The Frosty Bottom route that goes from West Chester out to the 25 mile finish, and and then do the return route as if your were do the Frosty 50 except instead of going to Kincaid turn around at "Y" and do the route as many times within the 6 hour limit.

Please park in the street and not in the parking lot.

    Cost: Free
Options: FRO's Jack and Jill's for each class. A FRO is a bicycle shod with 2 wheels with Endomorph 3.7's or larger. A No Phat is a bicycle with wheels smaller than
3.7's or a bicycle with one wheel that is a 3.7 or smaller.
Casual: Ride what ever you want

Teams of 2 riders are allowed but a rider cannot be a solo rider and a team rider, no mixed classes this is a FRO class only.

Requirements: Helmets and lights, and it will be the riders responsibility to become familiar with the route. I would suggest you find the Frosty Bottom course from the Chain Reaction web page and down load it if you are not familiar with the course.
Please use this forum for questions.

Thanks Jordy, it is indeed the 21st.
It will be held regardless of the weather.
I hope the Northern Lights will be out as good as they were last year!

Dan, After doing the only leg from Westchester to Kincaid, you essentially follow the Frosty "25k" route from Kincaid to Hilltop and do the "50k" return route back to Westchester and continue to do laps between Westchester and Hilltop until you reach 6 hours. Did this help?

Yea I can guess with that. I dont know the 25 or the 50K route but as there arent too many options from Westchester to Hilltop I can figure it out.
