Check the thread entitled "Griffin" Tons of folks complaining about it and being disappointed that Airborne's secret bike wasn't the 27.5 Enduro.

I like the concept of the B+. Diameter benefits, volume benefits, wheel strength benefits... And choices are cool.

I've been watching that thread too. I like polls. They simplify and visualize. I just bought an EVO which I love so I wasn't interested in the mythical enduro bike. If the Griffin had been out already (and the price had been right) I probably would have choose it over the EVO. Who knew 27plus would explode like it did? Even seemed to catch those close to the bike industry off guard.

The bike industry is promoting 27+, so if anyone is making it "explode overnight", it's the companies that make the bikes, not the riders who buy them. I've been on the trails all spring and have not seen one 27+ or 29+ in the flesh. Plenty of fatbikes though.

Now that fat bikes are starting the slide out of fad, we need something new to sell bikes. Pretty simple.

I don't have a big problem with a new wheel size, though I think it's always the rider, not the bike that makes the difference. I question a $2k aluminum hardtail from Airborne.

They should've released this first as a rigid 27+ to keep the price lower. It looks cool, but not $2k cool.

Would rather see EVO frame only.
    More paint color options
    Different frame materials.

I saw a carbon 29er prototype in the woods this time last year, so they were working on something.

I have been wanting a steel Goblin for some time now though!

    That would be cool!
Not so much interested in carbon
Titanium would be interesting but very likely out of my price range.
    but steel would Rock It!

I would max out my credit card for a Steel EVO or Goblin

I would be ordering one as well, bonus points if they offered frame only!
