    Goblin vs Evo: Climbing Ability

Hey ya'll, it's me again. I have a question regarding the climbing ability of the Goblin EVO, which looks to me like an absolutely awesome bicycle. I know a trail bike shines on downhill, and/or techy, and/or rough terrain, but how well does it do getting to the top of the terrain? I was wondering how well it climbs as compared to the regular Goblin, not necessarily as quick, but is it harder to climb with it? Can you climb just as well as the Goblin?

That is about the only thing left that I'm wondering about.

    Thanks,

    Lorne

    Goblin vs Evo: Climbing Ability

I haven't ridden a goblin, but the only thing different would be the tires. The 2.4's have a little more drag on the evo. Gearing is the same. Geometry isn't different enough to really notice. You may get up slightly faster on the goblin, but the evo will still get there.

The Goblin will climb better due to geometry, less suspension and lighter/narrower tires. But honestly, unless you are riding them side by side I am not sure you will really notice much of a difference.
