Mine was the narrow/wide too. Then was bars and stem. Wider bars, shorter stem.

Is the Race Face to go 1x10?

I'm not really sure what my first mod should be... or if I really need one! lol

I'd like to get the bike a bit lighter... but I'm sure that will take significant investment into wheels. I'd also like to go with some carbon bar/seat post to get a little bit more 'compliance' and save some weight.

Other than that, the bike performs awesome!

The RaceFace Narrow/Wide was to go 1x10. That took a little weight off and I really don't have much hill around where I live now. Honestly, the Evo comes very well equiped to start. If it wasnt for my affinity for everything RaceFace (chainring, bars, stem, grips) I may have not changed out so much.

I only did the chain ring to go 1x10. I have been really pleased with everything else. Even the seat was surprisingly comfortable even though it is very hard.

I don't have an EVO so I can't comment on what should go, but most folks emphasis contact points. Where your hands, ass, and feet go and how they affect your positioning should be #1.

    I'm a +1 for the RaceFace NW 32t 1x10 conversion.

I did the same with my Evo. Except I wrap it like a hockey stick and use less zip ties like that. The world's greatest chain stay protector = the blown inner tube!
