    Goblin EVO: Recommend lightweight wheelset

    Roadie for past 5 years...

I'm good with the Charger Comps / Maxxis... but think I need a second, lightweight wheelset with different tires for pavement / fireroads within riding distance of my house. When I drive to technical stuff, I'll swap in the Chargers / Maxxis.

I'm familiar with custom-built road wheels, but I'm out of date on everything off-road. I'd prefer going... err, inexpensive. But not too inexpensive (if you know what I mean). I know 'inexpensive' and 'light' don't usually go together. Any factory wheelsets that you would recommend? Pavement and XC only. Oh... I'm 6'0 185lbs.

E.g., What would beat the Shimano XT M785 wheelset for my requirements? Pro = $375, Con = 1850gr

It's actually a decent wheel set. I would pry say the small block 8s for tires. Descent traction and fast rolling.
