    EVO Frame Weight vs. Goblin?

Anyone have an answer to that question?

How about those who own an EVO, do you have a total weight for your bike?
People ask me all the time "who beat you up"? I tell them "a tree". They just look at me funny....

I just weighed my 18" Evo at 29.9 lbs.

Edit: The bike is mostly stock, but I've added a heavy KS Eten dropper post and a Pure V saddle. The pedals are MG1's.

I will weigh mine tonight. I've replaced bars, stem, grips, seat post, and gone to 1x10. It should be a pretty light bike compared to stock. The tires are the next endeavor but that's a pricey one. I am trying to get gear together for a second bike and just purchase a frame and a few components for my wife.

    Do you race it?

I haven't pulled my Evo down to the frame yet. I did build a Goblin for my wife from a frame. I will say the my wife's Goblin is lighter. Her frame was surprisingly light especially for the price. I think this has been beaten over and over in this forum. If you want the lightest/fastest/raciest/XC orientated bike, go with the Goblin. If you want the "fun" bike that can handle a race here and there, go with the Evo. If you really are going to race it, get the Goblin XO model and then you have the lightest frame and high end parts.
