    Cable Rubbing on Goblin Evo

Has anyone had issues with cable rubbing up front? I took mine out for the first ride yesterday and noticed that on the left side there is a small spot where one of the cables is rubbing the frame and the blue is already gone there, very small spot though. And then there is a spot on the fork where a cable has rubbed, about the same size spot. I was just wondering if there was a way to somewhat prevent this?

They leave the cables long incase you change the stem or bars. You can trim them and they won't rub. Also you can put a sticker there or I use nail polish over the rub spots for a little extra paint.

Mine rubbed as well on my 16". I took about 6" of extra slack out of the cables and put some clear vinyl on the head tube where the cables touch. No issues since.

I put some of the loop side of the industrial strength Velcro on the frame/fork wherever it rubbed. Seems to be doing the job nicely. I use this method on my RC helicopters to keep wires from chaffing on the edges of the carbon fiber frames.
