FWIW I use Tune AC16+17 Ti skewers with a Skareb Super fork, XTR hubs and XTR disc brakes. I works fine and holds the wheel without problems. The combination is however not as stiff as with the original XTR steel skewers. This causes some minor brake rub when accelerating out of the sadle and such.

I live with it since the Tune skewers are very light compared to the stiffer XTR skewers.

    go for it

I have had the airborne ti skewers on my Id with Hope Minis 160 rotors front and rear for 6 months now and had no problems at all. Put them on and forget about them.
