    ZttO 12sp cassette

Anyone given these ZTTO cassettes a try? They're certainly lighter and less expensive than srams gx offering but are they any good? Durable?

What the hell is THAT! And why is it so oil-stainy? I must look them up online, but I have initial doubts. Partly because I do not know the company, and partly because they had decided to give it a fashionable finish at low price. I am alway suspicious when new unknown product comes being all flashy and budget friendly at the same time.

ZTTO are junk - just save up for a Sunrace, Shimano, or SRAM. Even for a 29er, not slick.

ZTTO JUNK just bought the 9-50 11s cassette just like it. SHIFTED like CRAP in 4 lowest gears, the large cogs were fine.

I think that generally 9 tooth sprocket is a bad idea. Great stress for sprocket and even more for chain. There are less points of contact (greater force is distributed on a smaller area which is bad for sprocket and chain) and chain bends at bigger angle, which is particularly bad for chain.

Also, I think that 9-50 11s cassette makes for a huge jumps between gears. Bad for shifting performance and cadence regulation. I even wish that SRAM makes 10-46 12s cassette.

FYI, you're mixing up the terms "low" and "high" (the big gears are the low ones).

Also, poor shifting on one end of the range isn't necessarily the cassette. Often that's a bent/misaligned derailleur hanger, cable or other issue unless the cassette is wearing out.

Most of the negative stuff I've heard is bent cogs and poor overall shifting performance, but anything can happen with a lack of quality control.
