    Hope XCT Suntour Upgrade (29er)

Hi All, i have a Specialized Hardrock 2014 (29er with mechanical brakes) which includes an XCT Suntour fork (80mm i think).

As i'm getting back in to trails, and my fork has had its day, i would like to upgrade to an air suspension (looking at rockshox) but there are so many choices and I was wondering if anyone can recommend me one? as i'm not sure what spec to go for other than i've heard i can go 20mm up or down, so will be looking at 100mm.

My budget is around 200-350 and i'm in the UK.

My current spec if that helps is:
SR Suntour SF13-XCT-MLO 29", coil/MCU spring, 1-1/8" steel steerer, mechanical lockout w/ preload adj., 28mm stanchions, post-mount disc, 80mm travel.

Any help would be much appreciated.

So you need a straight steer, not a tappered. I'm also going to guess that your wheel uses 9mmQR axles, so that will also come into play.

Something like this may fit your needs https://www.sram.com/en/rockshox/models/fs-30g-rl-a2

You can also on some bikes get a new headset which will allow you to run tapered forks. Your options will open up then.
