Soul Cycles Dillinger -- Build out for under $500?

Hi there, I recently was gifted a 2008 Soul Cycles Dillinger frame and fork (29er). I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on how I can build it up as a single speed for relatively cheap (under $400-500).

Some thing to keep in mind:

I'm about 5'8'' and the frame is 16" (a little small), so I'll need a 400mm seat post.

I have a seat I can use, and pedals.

    It will need disc brakes.

I have an old 1999 Trek 6000 that I upgraded with a Shimano XT Hollowtech crank in 2005. Is it possible to take two rings off of that and put it on the dillinger?

    Thanks!

PM me I think I can hook you up with wheels and disc brakes well within you budget if interested. Probably tires too, sh*t I got a ton of stuff to build another bike I'd love to part with and not use CL or Fleabay.

Probably doable. You can find wheels for fairly cheap. I've seen WTB Traildiscs (for example) at $100 locally. Then add $50-100 for tires. Another $100 for BB7 brakes (you'll probably need to go used, as you'll need levers as well). Cheap Kalloy seat post is probably $20 and will work fine. New chainring, cog and chain is probably another $100. Use rest for cables/housing and other misc items. You should be able to use your cranks, stem, bar from your old bike.

With heavy but sturdy parts yes. I've got a set of new Speeddisc I'd ship for cheap. PM if wanted.
